Joining our club means becoming part of a community of passionate airsoft enthusiasts. Here's why you should join:
The Orange Airsoft Club offers a variety of activities throughout the year to cater to the interests and skill levels of our members:
Game Days: Held every week at locations determined by a general poll. Game days occur during Friday evenings, Saturday, and Sunday afternoons, providing members with ample opportunities to participate in airsoft games.
Training Sessions: Conducted at least once a term at a time and place determined by the Officers. These sessions are designed for both novice and experienced members. Novice members learn the basics of airsoft, while all members undergo safety training to ensure familiarity with club rules and regulations.
Official Meetings: Held at least once a term at a time and place determined by the Officers. These meetings serve as introductions for new members and as forums for Officers to discuss club business.
Social Events: Organized periodically to promote camaraderie and community among members. These events include social gatherings, outings, and collaborative activities, enhancing the overall club experience. Advance notice of social events is provided to ensure maximum participation. Non-members are welcome to attend social events, but an entry fee may applies.
The Orange Airsoft Club offers two types of membership:
Regular Membership: Open to any currently enrolled student of Oregon State University interested in airsoft gaming. Regular members have full voting rights and may hold officer positions in the Club.
Associate Membership: Open to any community member, including current faculty and staff of Oregon State University, interested in airsoft gaming. Associate members may participate in all Club activities but do not have voting rights and may not hold officer positions.
The OAC is committed to providing a safe and welcoming environment for all members, regardless of race, color, national origin, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, religion, age, disability, veteran status, or any other legally protected status. The club does not tolerate discrimination, harassment, or retaliation of any kind and will take appropriate action to address any violations of this policy.
The Orange Airsoft Club offers a variety of rental equipment to help you get started with airsoft gaming. Our rental kits include everything you need to participate in games and events, including an airsoft gun, mask, gloves, and more. Rental equipment is available to all members of the club for free, and we offer premium rental packages for those looking for more advanced gear. Members are encouraged to reserve rental equipment in advance to ensure availability. Note that members are responsible for returning rental equipment in good condition, and any lost or damaged equipment will be subject to replacement fees.
In addition to rental equipment, the club in partnership with our arena partner S&F Scenarios also offers secure storage lockers for members to store their personal gear and equipment. Lockers are available on a first-come, first-served basis and can be reserved for free. Members are encouraged to label their gear with their name and contact information. Note that advanced notice is required for locker access. Members who have registered for club game day will have their equipment transported to the arena for them.
